Every year, the entire CEMS community is celebrating the conclusion of its annual activity during CEMS Annual Event gathering now just thousands of participants representing all CEMS stakeholders.
SGH was hosting such event in 2005, and we will host it again in 2030.
Each year (at the end of November and/or beginning of December) one of the member universities (on a rotating basis) is hosting the Annual Meeting which consists of separate and plenary (Annual Meeting) stakeholders meetings accompanied by official lunches and dinners. This offers the host institution the chance to share with the rest of the CEMS community its local customs and surroundings, all within the uniquely international environment that characterises the CEMS alliance.
The culminating point of every Annual Meeting is a Graduation Ceremony during which all eligible graduants receive CEMS MIM diplomas, take a memory photo and celebrate their success with invited guests during graduation dinner and final party!
Registration for Annual Events for all CEMS stakeholders starts usually in June and invitations are sent by email to all members of CEMS community. Graduates can register until late October just after receiving final confirmation on completion of all components and submitting correct certificate form home university prepared by local CEMS Programme Manager and signed by local CEMS Executive Board Member.
Specific regulations of participation in the Annual Events (fees, number of guests you may invite etc.) are announced during registration process at CEMS Website
Please note that, until 2008, Annual Events were accompanied by CEMS Career Forum. From 2009 on, CF is a separate event that includes job fair, skill seminars and company presentations held in mid-November at one of the CEMS schools.
CERTIFICATES & DIPLOMAS OF THOSE WHO ARE PRESENT OR ABSENT DURING THE CEREMONY
During graduation ceremony all graduants receive a PROVISIONAL DIPLOMA.
The reason for that is the fact that many students were loosing them during graduation dinner or party. That is why all graduates, regardless they have participated or not in the graduation ceremony, will be asked to visit local CEMS Programme Manager (usually from January of the coming year) to collect their diplooma originals and certificates (a form of diploma supplement containing all components of CEMS MIM programme completed by a graduate).
Due to the fact that CEMS Diploma is issued once in life (there are no duplicates issued) we usually do not send them by mail and ask all graduates to do it in-person of by authorised by them member of the family or a colleague. It is recommended to act similarly in case of the certificates.
