Dear Students,

Due to further restriction on physical contact introduced in the country, Deans’ office hours and Assistants’ office hours are suspended. At the same time:

1) Assistants are at your disposal via e-mail and telephone, from Monday till Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

2) From 19th of March Deans’ office hours will be conducted on-line on Microsoft Teams platform. They will be held according to the schedule:

- Monday, 10:00 – 11:00, Dean of Bachelor Studies, prof. Bartosz Witkowski,

- Tuesday, 11:00 – 12:00, Vice-Dean dr Aneta Pluta-Zaremba,

- Wednesday, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Vice-Dean dr Olga Mikołajczyk

- Thursday, 10:00 – 11:00, Vice-Dean dr Joanna Stryjek

- Friday, 10:00 – 11:00, Vice-Dean prof. Mariusz Próchniak

Registration for the office hours (until 10:00 a.m. on the day before the office hours of chosen Dean) will be required via e-mail: (in the content of e-mail please give a short description and name of your Assistant and the day on which you would like to register for the office hours) – in case of SGH students, the message should be send from your student e-mail. After registering, you will receive return message with date and time of consultation – we will try to meet your expectations for the selected day, but in current situation it must be taken into account that it is not always possible. Please wait for the Microsoft Teams  connection within the set term. Please remember, that the time is approximate – depending on time of service of students before you, it can happened that we will connect a little bit sooner or later, that is why we ask you to be available at your computer some time in advance and wait patiently for the connection, if we don’t connect with you at appointed time.

3) Your requests send by the electronic system are considered on an ongoing basis, as I gave the information in previous e-mail.

Current system is binding until 25th of March 2020, however it may be extended.

At the same time remember that University is gradually switching to a temporary remote working system. As a result, it is important to pay attention to how the activities for which you are enrolled are organised. I encourage students who are taking the bachelor seminar to use this time to intensify their efforts to prepare their work. It is worth remembering that through VPN you have access to a wide range of text database available in the SGH library, including Scopus, Web of Science or EBSCO. It is worthwhile to agree with your supervisors on the mode of work and take advantage of the opportunities provided by the University without having to leave home.

Take constant care of yourself!

Best regards

Bartosz Witkowski, Dean of Bachelor Studies.
