 Student's exchange

International Exchange referral may be issued to a student qualified for an Exchange program as result of recruitment process managed by the International Center (DPM) or individually received by a foreign university.

A student applying for completing part of his or her studies abroad may be directed abroad by the Warsaw School of Economics or may take a year off. The final decision is to be taken by the Dean. The decision will be based especially on the completion of the preceding semester by the Student.

All issues regarding departing Students are managed by Urszula Szczecińska (ph.no. 564 98 84, room no. 56), to whom all documentation regarding studying abroad should be delivered.

The Vice Dean responsible for the issues regarding departing Students is Adam Karbowski, PhD

 Acknowledging the courses

The procedure of acknowledging courses completed outside the Warsaw School of Economics within international exchange as equivalents:

The Student may apply for an equivalent of a course completed abroad out of the pool of courses available in the Warsaw School of Economics. In such a case, the Student delivers to the course coordinator (in the case of basic courses) or major coordinator (in other cases) the syllabus of the course completed abroad and the equivalent proposal form and receives his written opinion regarding its uniformity with a course completed at the Warsaw School of Economics. The student delivers the form to the Dean’s Office. Only upon receiving the Dean’s decision, the Student completes the form of exchange settlement and delivers it to the DPM together with the abovementioned documentation.
